HARBESON - James E. Norwood, died Sunday Sept. 2, 2012, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes after a brief illness. James was born Sept. 29, 1934, on the family farm, to the late Lydia M. Norwood . James grew up and spent his entire life in Delaware, working the Norwood Homestead , farming all of his life. James would sometimes attend his family's church Israel UM Church. James is survived by his only uncle, George W. Norwood, of Millsboro, Del.; many cousins and other relatives. A service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, at Israel UM Church Plantation Road Lewes, Del. Friends may call at the church two hours before the service.
