Overstreet, 52 DOVER - James Allen Overstreet passed away suddenly, Wed., July 24, 2013, in Kent General Hospital, Dover. James was born, Aug. 15, 1960, in Milford, Del. He has worked as a painter for most of his life. James loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He was a caring individual with a really kind heart. James was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed watching sports on T.V., especially his beloved Cowboys and Phillies. He coached baseball at the Harrington Little League, liked to play cards, softball, and shoot pool. James is survived by his wife of 27 years, Dolores ( Gallo) Overstreet; two sons, James L.A. Overstreet of Rehoboth, and Lance A. Overstreet of Dover; daughter, Alexis M. Overstreet of Dover; his mother, Mary (Bernard) Overstreet of Dover; his father and step-mother, Louis and Mary Jane Overstreet of Woodside; his maternal grandmother, Violet Bernard of Dover; three aunts, Violet Bobbie Dean of Farmington, Nancy Emory of Harrington, and Billie Jo Shotwell of Felton; and many cousins. Viewing will be Monday, July 29, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Camden. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington. Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
