MAGNOLIA - Jacob Michael Tighe was born Jan. 29, 1985 and enjoyed his life to the fullest until January 1, 2013. Jacob was a soft and loving soul who fought the muscular dystrophy he was born with until his passing. He recruited so many friends along the way, nurses and doctors from the AI Dupont staff to his VA nurses who were more like extended family. Although his traveling was slow he called so many of his friends from across the eastern shore on a regular basis. He always wished his friends and family well offering support and kind words with every breath he took. He was an angel put on this earth to remind all of us how kindness and love are always the foundation of what humanity should be. He made friends wherever he went from North Carolina to his friends at Easter Seals and Dover Downs. He was also a member of Walter L. Fox Post # 2 in Dover. Jacob was the child of June Godwin and John Tighe of Magnolia. He is preceded in death by two grandfathers, Hiram Godwin and Raymond Tighe; along with grandmother, Mary Sierocinski. He is survived by his grandmother, Nancy Godwin; grandfather, Walter Sierocinski; his brother, Justin Kaczalek (his brothers keeper) and brother John Tighe, Jr.; sister, Dorothy Tighe; uncle, Raymond Tighe; and aunts, Jody Rinner and Carol Heesh; and multiple cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be laid to rest on Sat., Jan. 5, 2013, with remembrance services at noon at Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover where family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery, Dover, DE In lieu of flowers please make donations to: Muscular Dystrophy Association, 3300 East Sunrise Drive, Tucson, AZ 85718 or Ronald McDonald House, 1901 Rockland Road, Wilmington, DE 19803 Letters of condolences may be sent to www.delmarvaobits.com or traderfh@aol.com
