LAUREL - Jacklyn Rose Berner-Smith, of Laurel, passed away unexpectedly at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford, on May 22, 2009, at the age of 26. She is survived by three children, Jennifer Alexis Berner, Aaron Damian Smith, and Jasmine Marciano; a brother, Walter F. Berner; her mother, Teresa Berner and her boyfriend Thomas Toy; her husband, Damian Smith; her mother-in-law and friend, Bonnie Smith, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Services will be 4 p.m. Thursday, May 28, at the Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro, where friends may call one hour before the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to defray expenses may be made payable to Teresa Berner, c/o Watson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 125, Millsboro, DE 19966.
