DOVER - Jack Stephenson passed from this life on Sept. 29, 2012, at Cadia Healthcare Capitol, Dover. Mr. Stephenson served in the Air Force during the Korean War, and retired from Sears, Roebuck & Company in Dover after 38 years of service. He was a founder and member of the Silver Lake Sportsman's Club. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie Stephenson of Zela, W. Va. He is survived by his wife, Betty of Dover; daughter, Sheri Okladek Bailey and husband James of Wilmington; his beloved grandsons, Derek Okladek and Karl Okladek of Phoenixville, Pa. Mr. Stephenson is also survived by a brother, Robert Stephenson and wife Evelyn of Summersville, W. Va.; sister-in-law Barbara Stanley of Pratt, W. Va. and many beloved nieces and nephews. Arrangements were made for a private family military service by Torbert Funeral Home in Dover and O'Dell Funeral Home in Montgomery, W. Va. Letters of condolence may be sent and the guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
