CAMDEN - Irvan F. Alexander of Camden passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at home. He was 88. He as a farmer in the Willow Grove- Petersburg area. He was a member of the Camden Moose Lodge, Harrington American Legion, and the Fox Hunter's Association. He was an avid fox hunter and a NASCAR Fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher and Elva (Larimore) Alexander; wife, H. Marie (Harrington) Alexander; son, Charles; and daughter, Janice; siblings, Alice Reed, Ernest Alexander, and Doris Paskey. He is survived by his children, Edwin and his wife Brenda, Edward and Susan, William and his wife Maria, Charles and his companion Patti Carrow; and his sister, Jeanette Melvin; and six grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Sunday, April 15, 2012, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main St., Felton, where friends may call after noon. Interment will be held in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Sandtown.
