Indian River School District to honor behavioral health professionals

FRANKFORD — The Indian River School District will announce its Behavioral Health Professional of the Year on March 9.

During a ceremony at Seed and Sapling Weddings and Events, the district will honor the winners from each of 15 schools and name one of them the overall winner for 2023.

The school winners are:

  • Kenna Murray, a nurse at the Early Learning Center.
  • Christine Griffin, a psychologist at East Millsboro Elementary.
  • Mallori Roy, a nurse at Georgetown Elementary.
  • Colleen Jones, a nurse at John M. Clayton Elementary.
  • Amber Larimore, a nurse at Long Neck Elementary.
  • Sandra Chandler, a nurse at Lord Baltimore Elementary.
  • Maria Cruz-Darby, a mental health counselor at North Georgetown Elementary.
  • Jessica Ford, a counselor at Phillip C. Showell Elementary.
  • Blair Catlin-Brown, a mental health counselor at Southern Delaware School of the Arts.
  • Jennifer Goodman, a counselor at Howard T. Ennis School.
  • Tanja Doty-Levenson, a mental health counselor at Georgetown Middle.
  • Deena King, a nurse at Millsboro Middle.
  • Jayme Mahoney, a mental health counselor at Selbyville Middle.
  • Stephanie Wilkinson, a counselor at Indian River High.
  • Anastasia Robinson, a nurse at Sussex Central High.
