The Indian River School District will host a series of open houses as the school year approaches.
The events will allow students and parents to meet teachers and staff, view class lists and tour building. Many will host multiple sessions, each catering to different grades.
The 2022-23 academic year begins Sept. 6 for students in kindergarten and grades 6 and 9, as well as for pupils at Howard T. Ennis School (excluding preschool). The first day for students in grades 1-5, 7-8 and 10-12 is Sept. 7. Preschool programs, including Howard T. Ennis, will start Sept. 12.
