Henrietta Faulkner

Henrietta Faulkner, 70

CAMBRIDGE - Henrietta Faulkner, 70, passed away at the Dorchester General Hospital on Sunday, March 23, 2008.

She was born at Beckley, W.Va. on Jan. 22, 1938 and was a daughter of the late Roy Bryan and Sadie Massey Sizemore.

She attended schools in West Virginia, and graduated from McGraw High School in 1956. On Aug. 13, 1961 she was married to Jesse Faulkner. They made their home in Baltimore for six years and have made their home in Cambridge since that time.

Mrs. Faulkner had worked at Western Publishing Co. in Cambridge for a number of years, and had also managed three Quick Shops in Cambridge.

She enjoyed fishing and working with computers. She had been in failing health for the past eight years and had been at the Mallard Bay Care Center for three months. Mrs. Faulkner had been a patient at Dorchester General Hospital for the past six days.

Survivors include her husband, Jesse Faulkner of Cambridge, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Gregory E. Sizemore, and two brothers, Rudy Sizemore and Buddy Sizemore.

A funeral service will be held at the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A. in Cambridge at 1 p.m. on Wednesday with the Rev. Richard Prahl officiating. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memorial Park. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the Thomas Funeral Home, P.A.

Pallbearers will be William Vazquez, Mickey Laird Jr., Shawn Hitch, Joseph Preston, David Barnes and Jeff Prahl.
