MILLINGTON - Helen S. Miller died Dec. 27, 2012 in Chestertown Nursing and Rehab, Chestertown, Md. Mrs. Miller was born on Jan. 31, 1933 in Ridley Park, Pa., daughter of the late C. Craig and Sarah Lurty Sommers. She had lived in Clifton Heights, Pa. before moving to Kent County in 1972. She was President of the Republican Club in Clifton Heights and a Lady of the Moose in Millington. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years Robert C. Miller, Sr. in 2009 and a son Robert C. Miller, Jr. in 2005. Helen is survived by her sons, Craig Miller and his wife Karen of Millington and Jamie Meekins of Chestertown; three grandsons, Robert Charles Miller, III, Craig W. Miller, II and F. Heath Miller. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012 at 11:30 a.m in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD, where friends may call from 11 to 11:30.
