Frederick, 98 DOVER - Helen "Hellie" Frederick died Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the Cadia Capital Nursing Home in Dover. Born in New Castle she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ella Rayan Leonard. Helen had lived in New Castle until she met the love of her life, Herman G. Frederick. The couple settled in Bowers Beach and Helen went on to serve in the Administration Office of the Gulf Oil Company until her retirement. She was a loving wife for over 49 years and was a person who was a genuinely good friend to those she knew and loved. She especially enjoyed those times spent with family and loved the company of her cats. Along with reading and cross word puzzles, Helen enjoyed dancing. She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Besides her parents she was predeceased by three brothers, Thomas, James and Paul Leonard and two sisters, Marie Cannon and Rita McCaffery. Graveside Committal Services will be held on Monday, September 28, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Sharon Drive, Dover. where Burial will follow. Relatives and friends are cordially invited and are asked that in lieu of flowers donations to Delaware Hospice would be appreciated. Life's End Services are by Michael J.
