MILFORD - Helen E. Strahle of Milford, passed away on May 3, 2012, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Helen was born Jan. 5, 1930, in Ellendale, Del., the daughter of the late Delema and Coard Jones. She was a homemaker and loved to garden and cook. She will always be known for her kind heart and generous personality. She enjoyed gathering with family and friends and getting together with her former classmates. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Strahle. She is survived by her daughter, Connie Richards and her last surviving sister, Pearl Bock. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call after 12 noon. Interment will be in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.
