Helen E. Henriques, 94 DOVER - Helen E. Henriques, 94, of Dover died April 30, 2010, at Silver Lake Center. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late George and Irene Gaab. Mrs. Henriques had lived in Brooklyn, N.Y., until moving to the Dover area in 1969. She had been a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, enjoyed arts and crafts and often times crocheted items for her grandchildren. In her quieter moments she enjoyed reading and was one who cherished the company of her family and friends. Besides her parents and her brother John Gaab, she was predeceased by her husband, Leon, who died in 1969. Mrs. Henriques is survived by her devoted son, George Henriques of Staten Island, N.Y.; a daughter, Bernadette Yohn of Reading, Pa.; her sister, Margaret Zimmerman of Dover; along with four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may call Wednesday morning starting at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Sharon Hill Memorial Park Dover. Condolences and Guest Book signings may be made via www.ambruso.com.
