DOVER - Helen D. Faulkner, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at home in Dover. Helen was born on July 5, 1930, in Dover, daughter of Hilda V. Porter, She graduated from Dover High School, Class of 1948. She worked at Farmers Bank in Dover as a secretary and also for the City of Dover. She was also a member of the American Legion, where she had served as treasurer. Helen married Maurice L. Faulkner, Sr. on January 27, 1951, and became a housewife. She then went to work as a playground aide at Allen Frear Elementary School where she touched many childrens lives. Helen is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 61 years, Maurice L, Faulkner, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Terrie Faulkner of Dover; daughter and son-in-law, Elaine and David Angstadt of Dover; sister, Beverly Rosebrock and husband- Gunther of Denton, Md.; brother-in-law, Thomas Faulkner of Texarkana, Texas; sister-in-law, Irma Dietert of Lakeland, Fla.; grandchildren, Megan and Jeff Lassenby, T.C. and Michelle Anglin, Garrett J. Faulkner, David L. Anglin, Kristie Pedigo and Heather and Will Edwards; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Services and burial will be private.
