DOVER - Helen Alice Martin passed away Friday Oct. 19, 2012 peacefully at home. She was born June 24th 1936 in Hartly Del to the late Thomas and Alice Hutchins. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing cards, going to the slots, watching Nascar and her favorite Jeff Gordon and the Phillies. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandson's and great grand-daughters. She survived by her husband of 56 years, James Martin Sr; son, James Martin Jr of Felton Del. and wife Susan; daughter, Rita Feador of Wyoming Del. and her husband Dale; grandsons, James and Ryan of Del.; great-grand-daughters, Melody of Sumter S.C. and Olivia of Del.; sisters, Sarah Melvin of Goldsboro Md. and Nancy Lehto of Dover Del.; brother, Thomas Hutchins of Mo. She was preceded in death by her sister, Janet Warren. Visitation will be held on Thurs. Oct. 25, 2012 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Traders Funeral Home 12 Lotus St. Dover Del 19901. Services will be held Fri. Oct 26, 2012 at 9 a.m. at Traders Funeral Home and burial will be at the Veterans Cemetery in Bear Del.
