HARRINGTON - Helen A. Hembree passed away on Nov. 5, 2012. She was born on July 1, 1941 in Warren, Ohio to the late Fred and Jessie Simpson. Mrs. Hembree spent her life taking care of her children and her home. She loved to play bingo, listen to music and always was cleaning whether the house needed it or not. She was one of 16 children and had ten children of her own. Mrs. Hembree was very strong willed but would help anybody who needed help. She was very loving and supportive to her family. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren. She will certainly be missed by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Noble Sr.; daughter, Lorretta Conklin; sons, James "Jimmy Joe" Conklin Jr. and Robert "Bobby" Conklin. She is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Legates of Harrington, Helen Miller of Adamsdale, Tenn., Georgetta Lynch of Fla., Terri Esworthy of Parksburg, Pa., Bernie Whitehead of Coatesville, Pa. and Fran Stalling of Duncanyon, Pa.; sons, George Noble Jr. of Milford, Douglas Noble of Warren, Ohio, William "Billy" Noble of Lewes, Del., and Griffin Coulburn of Harrington; brother, James Simpson of Warren Ohio; sister, Mary Barlow of Wilmington, Del.; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Delaware Hospice Center staff for all their care and compassion during their time of need. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Melvin Funeral Home, visit our website at www.melvinfuneralhome.com for further information, leave a letter of condolence, or to send flowers.
