DOVER — A 34-year-old Hartly man was arrested on burglary and related charges following a physical altercation Thursday, Delaware State Police spokeswoman Master Cpl. Heather Pepper said.
Christopher Russum allegedly forced entry into a female acquaintance’s residence in the first block of Webbs Lane, and a dispute ensued, DSP said. Mr. Russum left the property on foot after the female threatened to call 911.
Troopers later located Mr. Russum, and he was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with second-degree burglary, offensive touching, criminal mischief and breach of release. Mr. Russum was arraigned in Justice of the Peace Court 2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $10,700 cash bond.
The female was uninjured during the incident.
