Harry E. Watkins

FELTON - Harry E. Watkins died April 15, 2013. Born in Phila., Pa. he was the son of the late Harry N. and Helen M. (Boran) Watkins. He was a graduate of Roman Catholic High School and had gone on to serve in the US Air Force where he reached the rank of M/Sgt. He was a Vietnam Veteran and had retired in 1988 after serving for over 20 years. He later graduated from Wesley College with a Bachelor of Arts degree and had been with the Delaware Dept. of Transportation where he served as a computer specialist. He was a member of the American Legion, Walter L. Fox Post and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Harry had greatly enjoyed the time spent with his family and could often be found watching the Syfy Channel or working on his computer. Harry leaves his wife, Edna Corrar Watkins of Felton; his son and daughter in-law, Joseph E. and Stacy Watkins of Felton; his three grandchildren, Christopher Watkins, Shelby Cook, and Ashley Waters; and two brothers, Peter and James Watkins both of Schuylkill Haven, Pa. Friends may call Sunday, April 21, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St. Dover where a Prayer Service will be held at 8 p.m. Interment with Military Honors will be held on Monday 11 a.m. at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, DE.
