D. Johnson, 76 DOVER - Retired Senior Master Sergeant Harry D. Johnson, age 76, of Dover, died Feb. 8, 2012. Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry L. and Alice Richardson Johnson. Mr. Johnson proudly served his nation, retiring from the United States Air Force after 21 years. He later worked as a Revenue Officer and retired from Civil Service after 25 years. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Delaware DAV and the NAACP. In his quieter moments he enjoyed fishing but mostly he cherished the time spent with his family. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Besides his parents, Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Johnson; three daughters, Miquel Cunningham of West Chester, Pa., Tanya Smith of Montclair, Va., and Kimberly Rodriguez, of Westminster, Colo.; two sons, Niki Johnson of West Chester, Pa., and Terence Johnson, of Houston, Texas; one sister, Dejaria Gillian of Alabama; one brother, Ronald Johnson of Philadelphia, Pa.; along with nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. where friends may call starting at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover. Interment will be private. Condolences may be forwarded and Guest Book signed via www.ambruso.com.
