Harriet Tillman Robinson

Robinson, 90 Berlin - Harriet Tillman Robinson passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tues., Jun. 9, 2014 at the Berlin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in South Bend, Ind., she was the daughter of the late Harry and Marietta Billye Tillman. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Orem E. Robinson, Jr. Also preceding her in death was a brother, Paul Tillman; and sister, Louise Epstein. Surviving, are her children, Daphne "Dee" Dukes and her husband, Burt of Rehoboth Beach, DE, David Robinson and his wife, Janis of Berlin and Laura Robinson Jenkins and her husband, Buddy of Berlin. She was an adored grandmother to Brian Robinson, Angie Cupas-Hagler, Daniel McCann, Christine McCann; and five great-grandchildren, Beckett Robinson, Asher Robinson, Ian McCann, Colleen McCann, and Zoe Pappas. She leaves several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Robinson was a graduate of Western Kentucky University, with a major in Education. She later became principal at Pinehurst Elementary School in Salisbury. She was also a Supervisor of Early Childhood Education in Wicomico County. Her hobbies included bridge, painting, needlework, and gardening. She also enjoyed playing the piano and going to exercise class. A funeral service will be held on Sat., Jun. 13, 2015, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 203 Church St., Vienna, at 11:00 A.M. A donation in her memory may be made to St. Paul's Church, P.O. Box 3, Vienna, MD, 21869.
