Born in Camden, N.J., on Jan. 23, 1957, he was the son of the late Harold White Powers and the late Shirley Jane Evans Stewart.
He was a self-employed waterman who was an avid outdoorsman. He liked to hunt and fish, and enjoyed giving away his catch to people in need. He also taught many people how to duck hunt. Most of all, he loved his family very much.
