DOVER - Gwendolyn E. Smith passed away Saturday May 31, 2014 at Westminster Village. She was 101. Mrs. Smith was an operator for Bell Telephone for 14 years and a member of the Wesley UM Church in Dover. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Catherine (Farlow) Wagner; brothers, Ammon, Norman, Joseph, and Howard Wagner; sisters, Mabel Wagner and Nora Wagner Draper. She is survived by her daughter, Rhea Konschak and her husband Robert, of Dover; grandchild, William Rhey Konschak, of Baltimore; and great-granddaughter, Madelyn Rigney, of Fenwick Island. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home Main St., Felton, DE 19973; where friends may call after 12, noon. Interment will be in Odd Fellow's Cemetery, Camden, Delaware. Flowers are accepted or contributions can be made in Gwendolyn's name to the charity of your choice.
