MILFORD - Guy F. Chilicas of Milford passed away June 5, 2015 at Delaware Hospice Center, Milford at the age of 54. His parents were the late Tony Chilicas and Donna Mae Wells. Guy served his country in the US Navy. He later worked his way to becoming an manager at El Chico's and Denney's. Guy worked the past 12 years in the Camden Walmart as an assistant manager. Guy was young at heart and enjoyed playing xbox, joking around, collecting comic books and playing poker. He also enjoyed target shooting, watching movies, and bargain hunting when not watching American Picker or Pawnshop. Guy was a very outgoing, determined man who was always putting other people ahead of himself. He had a great work ethic which he passed on to each of his children. He was not afraid to tackle anything. Guy loved going on vacation and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He will be missed by his loving wife of 28 years, Julie Chilicas of Milford; sons, Shawn Chilicas of New Braunfels, Texas, Derek Chilicas of Milford; daughters, Erica Chilicas of New Braunfels, Texas and Samantha Chilicas of Greenwood; brothers, Tony Chilicas of Cottonwood, Ariz. and Gino Iacovini of Henderson, Nevada; sisters, Dawn Waskowich of Sun City, Ariz. and Tammy Lippler of Chandler, Ariz. grandchildren, Bree, Arianna, Jaydean, Aracely, Tristan and Samuel; In laws, Joyce and Enoch Lake of Harrington. He was preceded by a son, Frederick Chilicas. Celebration of Life Services will be Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 7pm at Melvin Funeral Home, 15522 South DuPont Hwy., Harrington. A gathering of friends will be an hour prior to services. Arrangements are by the Thomas E. Melvin & Son Funeral Home Inc., Harrington.
