DOVER - Greta Mary Craig passed away on October 17, 2023.
Greta was born October 17, 1932, in Southern Bay, Newfoundland to the late Charles Quinton and Maggie Burry Quinton.
She graduated from a one room schoolhouse she then moved to St. Johns, Newfoundland at 18.
After completing a secretarial program at 19 she went on to a civil service job.
At the age of 21 at Princeton Church Greta married Robert L. Craig and they were married for 67 years.
She traveled with her husband and family with the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, retiring to Delaware in 1972.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob; son, Charles Dale; and granddaughter, Mary Allyson Craig.
She is survived by her sisters, Estella Cameron (Mac) and Shirley Chipman (Harry); and a brother, Fred Quinton (Pauline); one son, Robert Glenn Craig (June); grandchildren, Zachary Craig, Dana Craig and Jaclyn Craig.
Graveside services will be held 1pm, Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road, Bear, Delaware 19701.
