DOVER - After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Grayce P. (Nye) Bradley entered Paradise on Feb. 8, 2015. Grayce was born on Dec. 6, 1942, in Chester, Pa. to the late Frank and Gertrude (McKinney) Nye. Grayce graduated in 1960, from Notre Dame High School in Moylan, Pa. After graduation, she worked at Chester Hospital until her marriage to 'Chuck' Bradley in June 1964. Grayce worked for several years, and then volunteered for a number of worthwhile causes, while supporting her husband during and after his service with the USAF. Her selfless voluntary support was especially critical in assisting service members and their families in Family Services and Family Support. Most recently, she supported the food pantry for the needy, assisted with the Samaritans, and with many school related activities at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church in Dover. She was an active member of the Irish Society of Delmarva, and the Sprig and Twig Garden Club. Grayce was the best wife, loving mother, nana, and a true friend to numerous people. Grayce was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Kevin. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Charles W. Bradley; her son, Patrick T. Bradley; daughter-in-law, Michelle; grandson, Kevin (DE); her aunt, Grayce Faries (MD); cousins, Lawrence and Gregory Faries (MD), Patricia Gallagher Hill (NJ), Mary Lou Gallagher Waeghe (DE), Susan Gallagher (PA), Megan Gallagher-Brunner, Daniel McKinney (PA), and 'Dolly' Donato (TX). The family expresses grateful appreciation to all the first responders, doctors, nurses, and hospital staff at Bay Health as well as the caregivers at Delaware Hospice. The level of medical care and compassion was totally outstanding. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 West Camden Wyoming Ave. Wyoming, Del. 19934. A rosary service will follow at 7:30 p.m. that evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015 at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover, Del. 19901. Burial will follow services at Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover. In lieu of flowers contributions in Grayce's honor can be made to A.I.
