Go Pink! to support breast cancer services in Delaware

Posted

Bayhealth’s 17th annual Go Pink! breast cancer awareness campaign and fundraiser is officially underway.

Community members can participate by purchasing a specially designed Go Pink! T-shirt for $10. Proceeds after expenses will be used to provide breast screenings and education through the Bayhealth Cancer Institute and the Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition.

T-shirts are available here and at the Community Pharmacy and Gift Shop locations at Bayhealth Hospital’s Kent and Sussex campuses, while supplies last.

Additionally, the annual Go Pink! Health Fair will be Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the Bayhealth Women’s Imaging Center, 540 S. Governors Ave., Dover, opposite Spence’s Bazaar. This free community event will feature information on cancer treatment and survivorship programs, as well as free clinical breast exams and mammograms for women who are uninsured and underinsured.

Contact Katie Killen at 302-744-6562 for information.
