Gislinde E. Obierek, 74

SPRINGFIELD, Vt. - Gislinde E. Obierek, 74, died Saturday, Aug. 8, 2009, at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, in Lebanon, N.H. She was born July 14, 1935, in Trier, Germany, a daughter of Barbara and Albert Arnold. She is survived by two sons, Greg Obierek and his wife Tonya of Newark, Del., and Andrew Obierek of Springfield, Vt.; a brother, Peter Arnold and sister Dagmar Baumgatner, both of Germany; a sister-in-law, Lydia Campbell of New York City, as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, at St. Mary's Church in Springfield with burial at a later date in the Vermont Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Randolph Center, Vt. Knight Funeral Home in White River Jct., Vt., 802-295-2100, assisted with arrangements.
