NEWARK – Today’s semifinals of the DIAA girls’ basketball tournament have been postponed because of the snowstorm affecting the northern part of the state.
The semis will now be played on Friday evening at the Carpenter Center with the finals being played on Monday night.
Ursuline plays Conrad at 6:30 p.m. in the first semifinal with St. Thomas More facing Caravel in the second game, at approximately 8 p.m.
The schedule for the boys’ tourney remains the same with the semifinals on Thursday night and the finals slated for Saturday.
Tickets sold for Wednesday’s girls’ semifinals will be honored on Friday night only, and ONLY tickets marked for Wednesday will be valid that night. Original Friday night tickets will only be valid only for the girls’ finals, not the semifinals. Tickets for all remaining rounds are $8.
Tickets will be available at the Carpenter Center ticket window 90 minutes before the start of the first game of the day.
