DOVER — Dr. Nat Ramani, physician assistant Jatan Raythatha and the staff at GI Associates of Delaware are adding Dr. Kenneth Musana to the practice.
Dr. Musana obtained his medical degree from Makerere University in Uganda. He completed his internal-medicine internship and residency at Marshfield Clinic in Wisconsin and his gastroenterology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University.
He has Masters of Science in epidemiology and biostatistics from McGill University in Canada and in clinical research and biostatistics from Virginia Commonwealth.
Dr. Musana is board-certified in gastroenterology and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, as well as a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
He has been practicing gastroenterology in a group practice in Lynchburg, Virginia, for 10 years, the last five of which as the director of endoscopy at Gastroenterology Associates of Central Virginia.
His main interests are in colorectal cancer screening, general gastroenterology, acid reflux and Barrett’s esophagus.
Dr. Musana, who is accepting new patients, is married with three young children. His main hobbies are traveling and dairy farming.
