SALISBURY - Jessie Caroline Causey Dolinger died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, at her home. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Willard Ward Schuyler and Elesa Westbrook Schuyler.
She was a member of the Fruitland Christian Church for more than 40 years. She worked as a seamstress, retiring from Gant Shirt Factory after 28 years.
She is survived by her five daughters, Sylvia Jean Kumer of Newark, Md., Wanda Lee Gordy of Fruitland, Leslie Ann Shrieves of Salisbury, Brenda Gail Carmean of Princess Anne and Deborah Lynn Vance of Salisbury; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Alvin Gurvie Causey in 1999 and Bradley Dolinger in 2014; and two sons, Michael Ray Causey and Alvin Joseph Causey; three sisters, Shirley Bruner, Alice Foxwell and Sarah C. Fleetwood; and two brothers, Willard Schuyler Jr. and Nathan Schuyler.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Jan. 23, 2021, at Fruitland Christian Church. Interment was at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
