BRIDGEVILLE - George Hall Morris, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at his residence. Born in Lincoln, Del., the son of the late Dorothy and George W. Morris, he was a millwright at the DuPont Company in Seaford before retiring. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He is survived by two sons, Dale Morris of Bridgeville, Del. and Scott West of Deleon, Fla.; a daughter, Dixie Whaley of Seaford, Del.; four grandchildren, Tracie Hare and Dale A. Morris of Bridgeville, Scott A. West of Fla., and Jeffrey Whaley of Laurel, Del. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife Margaret West Morris; by a son, Alan H. Morris; two sisters and a brother, Dorothy West, Doris Heath and Donald Morris. Services will be Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Watson-Yates Funeral Home, Front & King Streets, Seaford, DE, where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to the services. Burial will be in Blades Cemetery, Blades, DE.
