Willey, Jr., 90 EARLEVILLE, MD - George E. "Buddy" Willey, Jr. died Nov. 5, 2012, in Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster, Pa. Buddy was born on March 5, 1922, son of the late George and Emily Hill Willey. He was raised in Smyrna, Del. and after his marriage in 1945 moved to Earleville. For over 30 years he worked for Chrysler in Newark, Del. Buddy was a member of the Rough & Tumble Engineers Historical Assoc. and enjoyed collecting antique tractors, trains and working with steam engines. He loved blue grass and country music and played many string instruments. Mr. Willey was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Bailey II; and his five sisters, Florence Jones, Daisy Trimble, Margaret Pappas, Georgia Foraker and Adella Bennett. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Marion Lorraine Cox Willey; three children, Dale Lucas (Sam) of Nev., Wanda Bixler (Mike) of Strasburg, Pa., and George 'Len' Willey of Earleville; five grandchildren, Sammy Lucas II, Joseph Bailey, Krista Vivar, George 'Len' Willey II and Raymond Cory Willey; and eight great grandchildren Friends may call on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, MD, where service will be held at 2 pm. Burial in St. Paul's Cemetery, Earleville, MD. www.galenafuneralhomeofsls.com
