RELIANCE - George E. Wain Sr., 74, of Reliance Trailer Park passed away on Friday, July 20, 2007, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
He was born Oct. 14, 1932, in Baltimore, the son of the late Howard Wain and Helen nee Hood Wain
He was a steel worker of welding fabrication.
Mr. Wain is survived by his wife, Shirley Baynard Wain; three daughters, Joyce Hammel of Dagsboro, Del., Sharon Choma of Glen Burnie, Dawn Kemper of Severn; two sons, George Wain Jr. of Seaford, Del., Steven Wain, of Baltimore; stepchildren include Emmett "Pete" Wilson of Federalsburg, Calvin Stevens Jr. of Easton, Jeanine Griffith of Federalsburg, and Anissa Blizzard of Cordova, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patty Shupe.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, at the Framptom Funeral Home, P.A. with the Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Burial will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery in Federalsburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from one hour prior to the service.
