GEORGETOWN - Gail Roeta DeBuon passed away Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013 at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Mrs. DeBuon was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Georgetown and enjoyed being a wife and mother. She also enjoyed embroidering, knitting, sewing, and horseback riding. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph W. and Roeta (Moist) Bender; brother, Joseph A Bender; sister, Marjorie Rhodes; and her husband, Richard John DeBuon in 2005. She is survived by her son, Richard John DeBuon Jr., of Georgetown. A funeral service will be 6 p.m., Monday Dec. 16, 2013 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, DE 19947, where friends may call after 4 p.m. Interment will be 12 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7231 Ritchie Hwy., Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
