Thomas, 64 CAMBRIDGE - Gail Ann Jenkins Thomas, 64, got her wings on June 16, 2015 at UMSMC at Easton. She was born in Dorchester County, and was the daughter of Charles and Violeece Jones and the late Edward Corsey (Step-mother Ivory Corsey). Gail was educated in the Caroline County school system, and graduated from Colonel Richardson in 1969. She spent her adult life taking care of her family and others. Her family meant the world to her. Gail attended church at an early age at John's Church under the leadership of the late Frank Robinson. With the merger of Mt. Calvary, she continued her membership and became an usher, and developed a love for children and working with youth of the church and community. In addition to her parents she is survived by her daughter, Lakisha Thomas; 4 grandchildren, Tramaine and Jermaine Thomas, Erik Dorman & Aayllia Williams, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, Marva Jenkins, Joana (Cedric) Pinckens, Dazaree Shabazz, 5 brothers, Gregory (Carmelita) Jenkins, Edward G. (Roseta) Corsey, Charles R. (Laretta) Corsey, Garry L. Corsey, Wendell A (Demita) Corsey, 5 aunts, Delores Jenkins, Ann Roberts, Dorothy Jackson, Lula (Hamilton) Parrin, Frances (Thomas) Corsey, uncles Dennis Jenkins, Jerome Jenkins, Orville Jones, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, a very special cousin, Jeanette Roberts. Gail is preceded in death by a son Michael Quailes, 3 sisters, Elaine Jenkins, Angela Jenkins, and Diana (Vicky) Brown, and 2 brothers, Tyrone Jones & David Jones. Services will be held Friday, June 26, 2015 at 12 p.m. at Mt. Calvary U.M.C. in Preston with a visitation from 11-12:00. Burial will follow at Johns Cemetery, Preston, MD. www.framptom.com
