Franklin O'Neil Foxwell Sr. KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Franklin O'Neil Foxwell Sr., 64, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at Mercy Hospital St. Mary's. He was born July 29, 1945, son of the late Freddie C. and Vennie Foxwell. He was of the Baptist faith and was a retired employee of Preston Trucking Company. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Foxwell is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Barbara (Faye) DeBord Foxwell of Knoxville; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Bryan May; son and daughter-in-law, Franklin O'Neil (Neil) Jr. and Lisa Foxwell; grandchildren, Adam May, Chris May, Samantha May and Trace Foxwell; sister, Genalee Willey of Delaware; brother and sister-in-law, Freddie C. and Irene Foxwell of Delaware; special uncle, John W. Fitzhugh of Maryland; special aunt, Louise Turner Prahl of Maryland; special friends, Bruce Bryant and Elvarez Bryant, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Feb. 26 at the Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel in Knoxville. Interment followed on Feb. 27 at the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Knoxville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American heart Association or to the American Cancer Foundation.
