Commodore Sr. KENNEDYVILLE, Md. - Franklin Elwood Commodore Sr. died at home August 23, 2013. He was born on November 19, 1926 to the late William E. Commodore and Rachel E. Scott-Commodore. He leaves to cherish his memory eight children, one brother, two sisters, 24 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, four great - great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friend. A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2013 at New Christian Chapel of Love, 26826 Big Woods Rd. in Worton, Md. with a public viewing 2 hours prior. Friends and family also visited from 6 p.m., to 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 30, 2013 at Bennie Smith Funeral Home 855 High St. in Chestertown, Md.
