Franklin B. 'Frank' Robinson, 75 DOVER - Franklin B. "Frank" Robinson, of Dover, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008, in his home surrounded by family. He was 75. He was born Oct. 16, 1932, in Sharptown, Md., and was the son of the late Edward E. and Mary E. Robinson. Frank attended Lawrence Dunbar School in Seaford. He was a member of Center of Faith Church in Dover. Frank was employed by George & Lynch for over 20 years. He also worked for Porter Sand & Gravel, Burris & Son of Camden and for City Cab until his illness. Frank's favorite sayings were "yes" and "dee-dee". He enjoyed going to Spence's sale, hunting and playing jokes and tricks on everyone. He was a good husband, father and grandfather. He is preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas L., Alfred, Harrison and Charles Robinson; and one sister, Sarah Sturgis. He is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Thelma Robinson; one daughter Sharon Robinson; one grandson Nickai Harris (his pride and joy) all of Dover; one godson, Tyrone Amos; three brothers, David Robinson of Magnolia, Guy Robinson (Shirley) and Samuel Robinson all of Dover; two sisters, Katherine DeShields of Philadelphia, Pa. and Mildred Spence (Charles) of Woodside; three sisters-in-law, Mildred Robinson of Wilmington, Mary Robinson of Seaford and Nora Glass of Orlando, Fla.; five brothers-in-law, Clifton and Victoria Mosley, Walter and Arlene Price and Tony Mosley all of Dover, Thomas and Barbra Mosley of N.J., Aquila and Ann Mosley of N.C.; and a special friend and brother-in-law, "Rankie;" and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, in Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Dover, where friends may view two hours prior. Burial will be in Whatcoat Cemetery.
