DOVER - Frank Harrison passed away on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 Born on Jan. 19, 1945 to Kathleen and Charles Harrison in Richmond, Va. Frank was a decorated communications specialist with the U.S. Air Force. When he returned home he worked at Sears Appliance Center and went on to become a Senior Agent for 26 years at All State Insurance, retiring in 2003. He was a Life member of Del Vets Post #2 and a member of the American Legion Fox Post #2. Mr. Harrison was a member of Maple Dale Country Club where he enjoyed playing golf. He was an avid fan of the Eagles and Phillies. Frank also enjoyed betting on Nascar with his friend Paul. Frank is survived by his mother, Kathleen; wife, Lorielee Schmidt of 35 years; daughters, Leigh Ann Harrison, of Dover, and Kelly Overton and husband Lee, of Aurora, N.C.; brother, Charles Harrison and wife, Lisa, of Aston, Penn.; sisters, Dorothy Harrison, of Wilmington and Marie Watson and her husband, Gary, of Penn.; he will be missed by his three grandchildren, Amanda Gommer, Jordan Visconti and Cody Russel; as well as several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at noon on Friday, Nov. 22, 2013 in Holy Cross Church. Burial will follow in Lakeside Cemetery. After burial there will be a reception at Delaware Vets, 721 Pear Street, Dover, Delaware. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to Del Vets Post #2. Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
