SALISBURY - Frances "Fran" J. Moore Redden, 78, died Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Salisbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in New Church, Va., she was the daughter of William C. and Bernice Chapman Moore. She worked in the office of Dr. Phillip Insley Sr, in Salisbury, and in 1978 began working at the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, serving as Office Manager and Executive Assistant to the Director for 22 years. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Salisbury, where she taught Sunday school and led the youth group. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Gene Redden, as well as her brother, William C Moore Jr. She is survived by her sister, Annette Mills, of Pocomoke City; her two daughters, Valerie Trout and Kimberly Ferrier; and her son, David Redden; as well as five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life was held at Immanuel Baptist Church on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016. Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury.
