Frances M. McCutcheon

HARRINGTON - Frances M. McCutcheon passed away on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Home in Hyattsville, Md. Frances was born on Oct. 14, 1915 in New York, N.Y., daughter of the late William and Eva (Koehler) McCutcheon. She was employed with the Woolworth Company in New York City for 48 years, retiring as a store supervisor in 1981. Frances was deeply committed to her family and her faith. She was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Milford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William C. McCutcheon, and James McCutcheon, and a sister, Madeline Dawson. She is survived by her daughter, and son-in-law, Madeline and Robert Herzog of Harrington; a brother, John H. McCutcheon and his wife, Lee of Lincoln University, Pa.; a sister, Evelyn Tirocke of Cherry Hill, N.J.; three grandchildren, Evamarie Rodahaver and her husband, Kevin, Katherine Engelhard and her husband, Sean, and Michael Herzog; seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 10, 2014 at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Ave, Milford, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Burial will be held in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, New York. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the St. Vincent dePaul Society, c/o St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Ave, Milford, DE, 19963.
