SMYRNA - Frances M. Faulkner, "Franny" passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015 at Capitol Nursing Home in Dover. She was born Aug. 6, 1924 in Dover, the daughter of the late Floyd and Ida Melvin. She was a loving homemaker who enjoyed reading and spending time with her family. Franny was known to always be fixing her hair so that it always looked perfect. She is survived by her loving husband of 72 years, William A. Faulkner; her daughter, Cindy Jester and her husband Daryl of Smyrna; a grandson, Drew Jester and his wife Heather of Townsend; and two great-grandchildren, Darren and Kylie Jester, both of Townsend. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna.
