Florence C. Chase

TOWNSEND - Florence C. Chase passed away peacefully on June 25, 2014. Mrs. Chase was born on June 24, 1923 in Millville, N.J. to the late Arthur and Rouenia Carrow. Mrs. Chase was a homemaker. She was a volunteer of the Cheswold Fire Company Ladies Auxilliary serving as a Secretary and Vice President for several years. She was also a former member of the Homemaker's Club of Salisbury, Md., where she resided for several years. She also enjoyed gardening and reading. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Chase in 1974; sisters, Edith Steller and Anna; and a brother, Arthur Carrow. She is survived by two brothers, Walter Carrow and Harvey Carrow of Smyrna; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, 212N. Broad St., Middletown, DE, 19709. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. For online condolences please visit Daniels-hutchison.com
