MILFORD — Rev. Ronald Longhofer has moved to Milford from Brooklyn, New York, to serve at the First Baptist Church of Milford as the associate pastor. He and his wife, Beverly, served in various areas of ministry in a 32-year long ministry at International Baptist Church.
Pastor David Perdue is extremely grateful to have an associate pastor on staff.
“The Longhofers bring years of experience in music, outreach, finances and Christian education,” he said in a prepared statement.
Mr. Longhofer is to oversee the Music Program of the church and soon begin teaching an Adult Bible Study called “Life Builders”.
Both have been involved in Christian education as well. Mrs. Longhofer is to be teaching in the high school of the Milford Christian School, a ministry of First Baptist Church.
