SEAFORD - Fhillip J. Wilkerson, age 19, of Seaford passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, as result of an automobile accident, in which his brother Freddy was also seriously injured. Born on January 16, 1992, he was the son of Frank Wilkerson and Sonya Rogers. Fhillip was a talented young man, gifted with the biggest heart you could ever have, he loved his Mom and Dad, and his Mom-Mom and he adored all of his family. He was an excellent computer whiz, and he liked hunting and crabbing. All the girls loved him, and he loved them back. He cherished his dogs, who were his faithful companions, "DeBo" and "Beauty." Fhillip was loved, and he will be deeply and sorely missed. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Sylvia Fleishman and her husband Albert; and his maternal grandparents, Patricia Meyers and William R. Rogers, Jr. and his wife Sharon. He has two brothers, Frank Wilkerson, Jr. and Freddy, who is recuperating in Peninsula Regional Hospital; and uncles, David Wilkerson, Bert Wilkerson, William R. Rogers, III, Mack Davis, Wayne Litteton and wife Sherry and daughter Nichole; aunts, Lorraine Lynch, Sylvia Wilkerson and her husband and his other aunt, Billie Jo Bratten. Also, he is survived by his nieces, Riley, Chloe; his cousins, Marissa, Maria, and Erika. Fhillip also leaves many, many beloved friends and extended family members. Visitation and calling hours will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, DE. Funeral service and celebration of his life will be 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, and friends may also call two hours prior to the service. Rev. Rob Welch will officiate. Interment follows at the Dagsboro Redmen's Cemetery in Dagsboro. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Delaware SPCA, or any animal rescue group of your choice.
