CAMDEN - A 37-year-old Felton man was arrested Tuesday for vehicle theft, DUI and other charges following a crash Thursday morning, authorities said.

Delaware State Police said Ramon Solomon was found in a disabled Toyota Corolla on Willow Grove Road at approximately 4:51 a.m. He showed signs of impairment and was subsequently taken into custody at the scene without incident, police said.

Police said Mr. Solomon stole the vehicle from the Royal Farms at 11460 South Dupont Highway in Felton earlier that morning. He had also allegedly struck and damaged another vehicle at Royal Farms before fleeing the scene.

Mr. Solomon was charged with motor vehicle theft, criminal mischief, possession of a controlled substance, driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia, and numerous traffic offenses. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and released on his own recognizance.
