FELTON - F. Dennis Werner passed away on Sun., Aug. 11, 2013 at Silver Lake Center in Dover. He was born in Denton, Md., the son of the late Andrew and Frances (Krieger) Werner. He was a master mechanic and shop foreman for George & Lynch. He was a member of the Odd Fellows and Loyal Order of Moose. He collected cedar boxes and model trucks, and was known for working on everyone's lawn mowers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Steward. He is survived by his wife, Margaret; and her children, Robert, Raymond, Ralph, Joanne and Paula; his children, Andrew Werner and wife Sharon, Teresa Fenger and husband Mel, Diana Augustine and husband Dan and Steven Werner and wife Tina; one brother, Rex Werner; and sister, Patricia Hardee and husband, Bill; four grandchildren, Crystal, Chuck, Zachary and Melissa; three great grandchildren, Justin, Jessica and Olivia and his best companion was his dog, Rusty. Funeral Services will be held Wed., Aug. 14, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Main St., Felton, DE, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be in Denton Cemetery, Denton, Md.
