Ezekiel K. Dill

FELTON- Ezekiel K. Dill passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Silver Lake Center in Dover. Mr. Dill was born on Dec. 26, 1926 in Canterbury, Del., son of the late Walter and Katie (Moore) Dill. He was employed as an auto mechanic with the State of Delaware for 15 years, retiring in 1985. Ezekiel loved the special times he spent camping and working on automobiles. He enjoyed Nascar racing, traveling on numerous occasions to take in the action first hand at the Daytona 500 race. He was a life member of the Frederica Fire Company. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dill was preceded in death by a son, Charles E. Dill; three brothers; and two sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Kathryn Dill; a son and daughter-in-law, David and Faye Dill of Felton; six grandchildren, Kevin Dill, Cindy Boling and her husband James, Melissa Dill, Michele Tucker and her husband Jeff, Matthew Dill and his wife Jessie, and Michael Dill and his wife Abby; and five great-grandchildren, Tristan Boling, Gavin Boling, Adalyn Dill, Brooke Tucker and Blayne Tucker. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will follow the services at Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association of Delaware, 100 West 10th St, Suite 1002, Wilmington, DE, 19801 or to the Harrington Senior Center, Meals on Wheels Program, 102 Fleming St., Harrington, DE, 19952.
