MILTON - Evelyn G. Murawski, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 at Harbor Healthcare in Lewes, where she resided for the past 3 ½ years. Evelyn retired in 1992 with over 25 years' service from Milford Memorial Hospital, the last few years as a purchasing agent for the hospital. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her former husband, Robert Murawski, in 1990; a daughter, Sandra Murawski Overman, on July 29, 2012; and a granddaughter, Dana Sammons, in 1976. Evelyn is survived by a daughter, Vicki Sammons, of Milton; a son, Robert Murawski, Jr., and wife Kay of Millsboro; brother, Ralph Seifert and wife Bernice, of Asbury, N.J. and Ocala, Fla.; a son-in-law, Paul Overman; grandchildren, Jeffrey Sammons, Newtonville, Mass., Garrett Murawski and wife Julie, of Dover, Drew Sammons and wife Kim, of Milton, Brian Overman, of Lewes, and Sarah Overman, of Georgetown; great-grandchildren, Parker and Cassandra Sammons and Sarah Murawski; a nephew, Mark Seifert; a niece, Debra Smith, of N.J.; step granddaughter, Leah Messina and husband Christopher; and three step great-grandchildren. A private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements in the care of Short Funeral Services, Milton.
