DOVER - Eva B. Cozzi died Aug. 28, 2013. Born in Jersey City, N.J. she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Rawlinska. Mrs. Cozzi had retired from the General Foods Corp. where she had worked in the Packaging Dept. until her retirement. Eva and her late husband, Anthony Cozzi, enjoyed the reputation of having the best kept lawn in all of the Sherwood and Wood Brook area. Besides the attention she spent towards gardening, she was an accomplished cook. Oftentimes the Pastor of Holy Cross Church would request if Eva would make some of her lasagna as he was entertaining special guests. Her favorite task was to have baby sat Matthew and Jennifer Maciarello who now have children of their own and were still considered Eva's extended family. Eva leaves her sister, Sophie Rawlinska of Dover; brother, Stanley Rawlinska of Myerstown, Pa.; and her caregiver and friend, Patricia Czaplicki of Camden, Del. Friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tues. eve, Sept. 3, 2013 from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso 1175 S. State St. Dover, DE 19901 where services will be held at 7 p.m. Entombment in Sharon Hill Mausoleum will take place on Wed., Sept. 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. Condolences may be made via www.ambruso.com
